Piano virtuoso Clare Hammond and "steel lipped' trumpet superstar Simon Desbruslais talk about their upcoming performance of the Shostakovich Concerto for Piano, Trumpet and Strings and the world premiere of Geoffrey Gordon's Double Concerto for Trumpet, Piano and Strings, "Saint Blue" with the English String Orchestra and conductor Kenneth Woods. The concert takes place on Wednesday the 13th of May in the Elgar Concert Hall on the University of Birmingham campus.
