Aria and Cadenza for solo violin
11 Nov 2009
Geoffrey Gordon's Aria and Cadenza for solo violin, a work drawn from his Concerto in One Movement for Violin and Orchestra (1997), utilizes thematic materials from that work to create a virtuoso showpiece for solo violin. This is a live performance, featuring soloist Lina Bahn, of the Corigliano Quartet, from a concert on the North River Music series, Greenwich House, New York City, 11 March 2004.
