Birmingham Contemporary Music Group to give the world premiere performances of Geoffrey Gordon's Harmonie, a setting of a text by Karl Marx, as part of the Wilde Lieder Marx.Music Project. Scored for soprano and solo cello, Harmonie is a setting of an early romantic text by the political thinker and theorist, dedicated to his love, Jenny, from Buch der Lieder 1836.
