Townsend: Concerto for Three Violins and Strings (Piano Reduction)

This is a world premiere of Townsend's 2011 piano reduction of this composition. The original work was written in 1994 as a triple violin concerto with string orchestra.
Busler-Blais: Frost Cycle
Artists: Marianne Ciasulli (Mezzo Soprano); W. Marshall Sealy (French Horn); Tim Ribchester (Piano)
The text of this work is by American poet Robert Frost. The third movement, entitled "October," is not being performed in this concert. This work was composed in 1997.
Clearfield: A reminiscence sing
Artists: Sasha Leinster (Soprano); Joseph Rosen (Clarinet); Miriam Brickman (Piano)
This work was written in 2009, revised in 2010. The text is by American poet Walt Whitman. For clarinet in Bb. This performance is a world premiere of this version.
Del Aguila: Boliviana for Guitar and String Quartet, Op. 98

Ensemble: Madison String Quartet
Violinist Rebecca Harris is substituting for Gabriela Rengel, regular member of the Madison String Quartet. This is a New York premiere of a work written in 2008.

Oleg Dubson is an actor impersonating a concert pianist. Kathleen Supove is a concert pianist impersonating a page turner.
Leonard: Venetian Moonlight
Artists: Timothy Shew (Narrator); Charles Yassky (Clarinet); Diana Hughes (Piano); Alexander Scheirle (Cello)
This work was originally composed in 2008, but was revised in 2011 to include a narrator. This performance is a world premiere of the 2011 version which includes a narrator.
