Horn soloist Ben Goldscheider premieres composer Geoffrey Gordon's new chamber work, THORN, (horn, violin, piano), at Conway Hall, London. Callum Smart, violin and Richard Uttley, piano, are also featured on this work inspired by the holy relic said to be a thorn from Jesus's crown kept at
Stonyhurst College, in Clitheroe, Lancashire, for the last 200 years. This work was originally funded by the Britten Sinfonia.
