Great Noise Ensemble's third concert of the season will feature the DC premiere of Geoffrey Gordon's lux solis aeterna, a work John von Rhein of the Chicago Tribune called "a cosmic beauty ... of acutely crafted music." The program will also include works by GNE conductor Armando Bayolo (Chamber Symphony, "Illusory Airs"), Andrew Simpson (Lotus and Poppy) and Manuel Stocks (Prelude for banjo and strings).
